Schumann and Strauss with Filarmonica della Scala

On May 5, 7, and 8, Susanna Mälkki takes the podium of the illustrious Teatro alla Scala, leading the Filarmonica della Scala in a program that features Robert Schumann’s Concerto in A minor, Op. 54 for piano and orchestra with Ukrainian pianist Vadym Kholodenko, followed by Richard Strauss’s sweeping tone poem, Eine Alpensinfonie, Op. 64
