On March 3 and 5, Susanna Mälkki leads the Orchestre National de France in two concert performances of Claude Debussy’s Pelléas et Mélisande at the Maison de la Radio et de la Musique in Paris.
The incredible cast will feature Ben Bliss as Pelléas, Antoinette Dennefeld as Mèlisande, Luca Pisaroni as Golaud, Alastair Miles as Arkel and Nadine Weissmann as Geneviève. Debussy’s evocative and dreamy music, with influences taken from the compositions of Richard Wagner, is sure to entrance audiences in these special presentations of the highly regarded work.
