Susanna Mälkki has been nominated for a 2017 Nordic Council Music Prize. Ms. Mälkki is one of two nominees from Finland, among an extraordinary list of artists who have all been nominated by national members of the Adjudication Committee. The winner will be announced and the prize will be conferred at Helsinki’s Finlandia Hall on November 1. More information is available here.
