Susanna Mälkki makes her highly anticipated debut at the Bregenz Festival on July 31, leading the Vienna Symphony Orchestra in concert. The programme features violinist Patricia Kopatchinskaja on Zykan’s Da drunten im Tale Concerto for Violin and Orchestra, in addition to Beethoven’s Overture to Fidelio, Op. 72, and Brahms’ Symphony No. 1 in C Minor, Op. 68.
