On December 18, Chief Conductor Susanna Mälkki will conduct Beethoven’s monumental Ninth Symphony with the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra, broadcast live on the Helsinki channel and the HKO Screen mobile application. Traditionally the concluding concert of the orchestra’s autumn season, this occasion also marks the culmination of the composer’s 250th anniversary.

Mälkki will conduct a fantastic group of soloists including soprano Miina-Liisa Värelä, mezzo-soprano Virpi Räisänen, tenor Loïc Felix, bass Tommi Hakala, as well as the Helsinki Music Centre Choir.
