Susanna Mälkki continues her first season as Music Director of the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra with a concert series titled “Majestic Brahms” at the Helsinki Music Centre. The programme features the Brahms Violin Concerto, with concertmaster Pekka Kauppinen as the soloist, alongside Dutilleux’ Timbres, espace, mouvement, ou “La nuit étoilée” and Debussy’s La Mer. Performances take place October 12 & 13 – please note several price areas are now sold out for both concert events.
