Susanna Mälkki embarks on a tour of Spain with the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra, performing at San Sebastian’s Auditorio Kursaal (10 May), Auditorio de Zaragoza (11 May) and Auditorio de la Diputación de Alicante (13 May).

The programme features Sibelius’ Romance Op. 42 and Symphony No.5 as well as Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No.3 with Simon Trpčeski as soloist.

The performances mark Mälkki’s first tour with her new orchestra before taking up the position of Chief Conductor in September. Later this season, she will return to the Bregenzer Festspiele conducting the Wiener Symphoniker as well as to the Lucerne Festival with Martin Grubinger.

HarrisonParrott is delighted to manage the tour.
